Anyone know if the $15 data plan is coming back or not?

Hi everyone,

Is the $15 data plan coming back anytime soon or will verizon only have the $30 data plan?

Thanks to the community members for your feedback. Currently, no dates or information is available if the $15 data plan would come back. We do offer the $10.00 75MB or the $29.99 unlimited data plan. However, please always feel free to check the Verizon Wireless website from time to time to see if different data plans would be offered in the future to perhaps include the $15.00 data plan.

I don't see the $15 unlimited coming back. in fact i see 4g devices having a higher data package..

but that is pure speculation on my behalf

As with every change in plans and offerings from Verizon, you'll know when it happens - check the website regularly, sign up for Twitter updates and email updates (though they aren't alwaysup to the minute either).

It may or may not come back .... soon? Not likely, IMO.

If "something" is going to come out, itll probaly be better then the $15 plan. much like the 9.99 data vs the now $10 data pack.

That would be my guess too. VzW would have to use the lower data option to entice non-smartphone users to jump over to the smartphone boat, but still have it small enough that existing smartphone data users wouldn't drop down to the less profitable tier. I'd personally expect like a 200-250mb data pack to come around sometime later this year. We won't know for sure until VzW announces it though.
