BlackBerry Storm deletes calendar entries

My BB storm has started to automatically delete calendar entries despite being set for "Keep Appointments Forever". This has created problems when I sync to MS Outlook as I had to salvage an older calendar version to sync back to the device. Once everything was fixed, calendar entries were deleted automatically, again. After searching multiple forums, I was advised to delete applications to free up memory. I have done so to achieve ~39 MB of free pace. Will this be adequate for the device to stop automatically deleting calendar items (if this is even the real solution)? My Palm Treo never had such problems! I would like to stick with the Verizon Blackberry and not experiment with the Sprint Pre.

I am having the same problem with Blackberry 8330. I have changed Options setting to forever.

The same thing is happening to me. Verizon replaced my phone and it still happens. Has anyone found out how to correct this?
