My "a" key won't work. No liquids touched it. It wasn't dropped. I was typing this morning and suddently it no longer worked. I pulled the battery out thinking rebooting it might solve the issue. It didn't and now I can't even type my password in to get into my phone. What's the problem?

Maybe dirt on the contacts? Take it to the Verizon store and ask if a tech can look at it and clean it.

The only thing the tech did was order a new Curve for me. I'm phoneless. I can't believe I pay so much for Verizon's service and this is the best they can do.
If anyone was considering getting a Curve 8530, don't. It's a terrible phone. I just got this phone at the beginning of this year, took good care of it and it's already broken. Another thing, why have a camera if you don't have a flash. I wish I looked into this phone more before I purchased it. Next time.
