Made the mistake of initiating an OS upgrade based on a prompt that appeared on my home screen yesterday. The process has been hung up since then with the progress bar showing "Overall Restore Progress" stuck at 1%.
Have tried resetting but can't get beyond this screen on the device. Has anyone else expereinced this issue? Will appreciate any suggestions about unfreezing this frozen update process.
That doesn't sound like fun at all EAHudson! Have you tried removing the battery? How about connecting the phone to the charger or your pc via the usb cable? Does it respond differently? If you are still experiencing difficulties, I recommend completing a factory reset.
