Blackberry Tour - Cannot identify country code ?

Does anyone get the message - cannot identify county code - when dialing a number ? I get the error message occasionally and you have to hit esc key to dial ? Does anyone get this error ?

I've got a storm, also a global phone and I have not had or heard about that problem. Is the error audible or visual on the screen? In the mean time, make sure your mobile network settings are set to EVDO and not global.

Definitely an odd situation though.

I'm having the same problem. Just started a week or so back. In smart dial I can change the default country code, but it doesn't save. Every time I go back, it is set to "unknown" again.

Try going back through the setup like you did when you first got the phone and see if it will save that way. Good luck, I hope it works for you.
