Blackberry storm 9530 battery problem

I have a Blackberry Storm 9530-just bought a new battery 2 months ago, and am having the same problem as before-battery will only stay charged for about an hour, even if I turn the phone off. I have updated the OS, deleted apps, and am still having problems-had it checked out at store, stated I needed new battery. That obviously did not solve the problem. Any suggestions?

Check every app to see if it is closed. You need to push BB Menu and then Switch Applications to see what is open. Also check Blue tooth in Manage Connections. Be sure BT is not ticked with a green tik. Do you have WeatherBug installed? If so open it, push BB Menu, Preferences and set time to update at 4 Hrs.

When I first got my Storm, I fully charged it over night. Then I ran the battery until I got the red low battery warning. I repeted this for three days. (over the weekend) it was easy to run the battery down since it was my new toy and first BlackBerry. I now usually use the phone during the day (talk, text, Facebook, email, YouTube, internet browsing, ect.), then plug it in when I go to bed. Usually I can go 2 to sometimes into a third day if I forget or am unable to charge it. Hope this helps.
