Buying new BB, need advice

I am looking to upgrade to a new BB. I am stuck between the BB Curve 3G 9330 and the BB Bold 9650. Price doesnt matter because they are both cheap right now. I am looking for the most relible with the least amount of problems. I had the original storm when it first came out and it was a nightmare which eventually made me go with the original curve 8330 and it was a much better overall phone. thanks in advance for any user insight.

If price doesn't matter, I would go with the Bold for its better camera with flash and heavier construction. When I compared them in the store, I liked the Curve's small size and the kind of keyboard I'm used to, but it does feel lighter and not quite as high-end.

But you can't go wrong with either one ... they're both getting OS 6, will do basically the same things, and any BlackBerry is better than no BlackBerry! :smileywink:

I like the looks of the 9650 better as well. I havent seen it in person yet but is the key lay out of the 9650 smaller then that of the 9330. i have bigger fingers and want to be able to text easy. the key layout of my old 8330 was perfect

The 9330 is very similar to the 8330 ... separated and clicky. The 9650 keys have less space between them (therefore are larger), are angled toward the center, and press really smoothly and quietly. I think if you can try them both in a store, it will help you decide.

As others have posted, try out the options at the store for keyboard compatability. I can say that I have large fingers and have no problems using the keyboard on my Bold 9650.

The camera on the curve is Fixed focus where the Bold camera has Auto focus. The Bold also is a "world" phone that has the capability of being used if you travel outside of the US. My experience with the Bold 9650 has been great. Great call quality and no problems with the hardware. I am currently running a leaked version of OS6 (6.0.0.333) and it is working great.
