Can I talk on phone while hotspot is on?

Question

I use my phone as my internet connection.  Can I make and receive calls on the BB Classic without losing my hotspot connection?  This was possible on my old Droid Bionic, but I got the new MotoX(2gen) and it doesn't work.  Want to find out before I buy another useless phone.

I can understand your concerns with being able to make calls while maintaining a data connection for your Mobile Hotspot feature.  Good news is the Blackberry Classic 4G LTE device does support simultaneous voice and data on 4G LTE networks. This device should allow you to make voice calls while using the Mobile Hotspot feature.
