I am being harassed and in the beginning stages of filing for a protective order. I deleted all text messages from my phone. I need to access them somehow. Does Verizon have these records?

Verizon Wireless would have the past 10-12 days' worth and to get copies would require a court order.
You can view the call logs via your on-line My Verizon account, but not the content.
For the future, you could start using Verizon Integrated Messaging and then you'd also have copies of the texts on your computer.
