Can't update to blackberry on-line

I am looking at upgrading the primary line on my Family plan to a Blackberry. I understand that I have to have a data plan with it but I am wondering if there is some restriction that disallows a family plan line to be updated to a blackberry online.

I don't know about the upgrade, but I purchased a blackberry storm with a family plan online.

What plan do you have currently? If you have a connect or premium plan you'll have to change your plan to a select in order to get a blackberry.

But as far as restrictions online go, you should be able to order anything available whether you're on a family share or not.
