I have a blackberry curve and for some reason I cannot reply to emails via blackberry. I had a service pack update but that has not solved the problem. when I go to send- the option does not appear nor can I open attachments in emails.

Have you tried a reset? That's always the first thing to do in a case like this.
Have you ever been able to reply or open attachments from this phone?
