Hello everyone. I recently go the Blackberry Curve, and downloaded desktop manager with no issues. I was able to transfer music from my computer to my phone with no issues. The second time I tried to sync up, my computer, which is running on Vista, isn't recognizing my device. Any idea what I can do? Any help would definitely be appreciated. Thank you!

Have you tried switching to mass storage mode? Go to Options>Memory>Mass Storage Mode Support>set it to "on" or Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode when Connected>On. Let us know.

Everything was already set to On, Lowflyer, but thank you. Still no luck. I've uninstalled and reinstalled desktop manager, and am at a total loss!

Do a battery pull and restart your computer after reinstalling DM. And are you installing 5.0?

Yes on 5.0, and I downloaded it from Blackberry.com. I'll give it a try! Thank you.

Have you tried restarting the computer or switching to a new USB port?? Occasionally USB ports have issues. Try this, restart both phone and computer, verify the phone setting i posted above again after restart (and I mean soft reset ie: batt pull or quickpull) Plug it in and see what happens. If it still doesn't recognize it>right click on my computer>click on device manager in the top right hand corner>click on Universal Serial Bus Controllers and see if there are any yellow circles with exclamation points and report back here for follow.

I have 3 USB ports on my laptop, and it will not work in any of them. I did all suggested, saw no yellow circles, and it's still not working
