So I pay for a voice/data plan that allows me unlimited data and text.. But because one of the phones on the account is a Blackberry I have to pay an additional $29.99 for email and web use ??

Correct. All Blackberry's will require a data package, the least expensive being $29.99. The data plan you have for your other line is probably just a basic handset, those types of data plans are not compatible with Blackberry/Smartphone devices.

Isn't all Smartphones pretty much, I'm not positive?? Also, if you decided you want to "Tether" your phone to your laptop or desktop computer so you can get internet through your phone on your computer it's another $35 on top of that. I luv "Tether" personally. It's relatively fast and works everywhere i've needed it so far.
