Forgot device password -- need to reset, but how?

Software installed on laptop, and evice data is backed up, but can't figure out how to start over with new PW. Thanks!

Have you tried to type in the wrong password 10 times? It should erase all previous data and from there you should be able to create your own password.If this solution resolves your issue please mark as solved.

You can always take into an official verizon store and they can find out what the password is... Or you can attempt to do that yourself from your Desktop Manager software on your PC.
