Hello,
I purchased a new BB Storm 2 9550 and cannot activate it on the Verizon network. When I enter the MEID # I repeatedly get the message :The Device ID you entered is not valid. Please try again or contact Customer Service at 800-922-0204 for assistance..

From where did you obtain the device? (Since Verizon has not sold that device "new" for several years.)
Are you sure that it is a Verizon branded device?
It is possible that it has been reported lost or stolen?
Have you double (triple) checked that you are entering the number correctly?
Have you tried calling Customer Service to see if they can get it activated?

The error that you're receiving would advise that the device may not be eligible for activation. This could be because the device was reported as lost or stolen. Also, this device may not be compatible with the VZW Network. Have you attempted to contact us directly at 800-922-0204 for review of the device ID?
