Locked out of adding Contacts

I am new to the Blackberry community, and have my first issue. I have uploaded my contacts, and have added some new ones in the past few weeks, however for the past few days I can not add or edit any information in my contact list. Did I push a bad sequence of buttons? Can anyone help unlock the mystery?

What type of error do you see when you try to add a contact? Any other issues with your Bold?

Try rebooting your phone by removing the battery while the phone is still turned on. Leave the battery out for a few seconds and turn the phone back on.

This will not erase any information on your phone. It is just a soft reset to refresh the phone.
