All of a sudden my BB stoped working. None of the buttons on the device work. However it holds charge and I can see when the phone rings but I can't answer or make calls. I can get another phone thru the insurance program but I want to be able to save my contacts and the content in my password keeper. The back up assistant online doesn't seem to able to help.
I'll appreciate any ideas or tips to solve my situation.

Try pulling the battery out for about 2 minutes and let it restart. See if it starts working.

Thank you StreetDocRN - that is a great way to possibly stop the phone from freezing. Hopefully this will help!
In addition, have you already/ previously downloaded the Backup Assistant onto your current device? If so, you will be able to download the application, (Backup Assistant), onto your replacement device and your contacts will transfer over.
Since the device is damaged, there is not a guarantee that you will be able to sync/ backup your device/content online to the BlackBerry Desktop manager. (For the content in your password keeper.)
When you receive your replacement device, you can take both devices into a Verizon Wireless location and possibly have everything transferred to your new phone.
If you need additional information or assistance with your BlackBerry, please send me a Private Message with your 10-digit mobile number, contact number, best time to reach you, and I will be happy to assist you.
Thank you,
Vanessa
