My phone physically broke..help.

I'm trying to find out what to do with this. I was using my phone and the silver circle that holds the scrolling button onto the phone just popped off! I want to know if I will get charged for having it fixed or if because it was a problem with the way the phone was put together I can get it fixed for free? Has this happened to anyone else..if so what happened?

That can be considered ware and tear. You could call customer care and order a replacment for that.

Have you tried popping it back in. Its only three little clips on the bottom of the ring and it has to be snapped in so that ,if your screen is facing up, one would point down and one to the left and one to the right. there is none by the screen. Also the rings are really cheap you can buy a trackball and ring for 9.99.
