yea the enV is crap my dad has it and the web browser fails. i have the storm and its a really good phone it has a great email service very easy to use and the browser is also great i think its $30/month for the unlimited data plan. u can also get the omnia which is faster and has equal web browsing as the storm it has email too. i got the storm cause of the BOGO sale they had for blackberrys but also because it has a bigger screen and the clicking is cool too. and yes you can access links from email.

The BlackBerry data plan includes email, web browsing, 3rd applications that use data like BlackBerry App World, internet radio apps, etc. Text/sms is separate and there are several options for texting plans.

There suppose to have multimedia service plans along with voice in the Verizon website. Look at the top, all the sections are in red.

I don't think he needs a multimedia plan with a BlackBerry plan. The BlackBerry data plan includes all that.

I stand corrected. I'm happy with the service I have with my Blackberry, and I hope he finds the Blackberry of his needs.
