Finally got my Tour(my 1st blackberry) late in the week, and love it so far. I've seen something posted in the past regarding steps to take on a regular basis to keep the storm running smoothly, but I can't seen to find anything for the Tour. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go to App World and install Quickpull Lite. It's a free app. I have mine scheduled to run at 3 A.M. every night. It is like a soft battery pull which will keep your phone from slowing down.

Jeff,
I agree with installing Quickpull Lite. It is a very helpful tool that will keep your device running smoothly. Also, don't jump on the bandwagon to upgrade your device's operating system everytime a new one comes out. If you device is running smoothly, then wait for the update to be out a few weeks to see what other's are saying about it. Another tip is to backup your device. Your Tour should have come with a CD that has Blackberry Desktop Manager for your PC. You can backup your contacts, calender, etc. to your computer in the event of problems. And one last thing, as a Tour owner I can tell you. I have caught myself almost dropping my phone a couple of times. I ordered one of those silicone covers for my Tour from Verizon's Accessory Store to help me keep a better grip on my device. Good luck and I hope I gave you a few good tips.
