I am trying to install Norton Smartphone Security but it won't detect my device, indicating I need to install PC Suite. What is that? I have Desktop Manager installed, up to date, and running - still no dice. Please advise. (computer OS is Windows Vista)

If you're talking about this application then unfortunately it's not compatible with Blackberry OS. It only works on WinMo and Symbian.

Wow, Norton for you mobile phone....seems so exaggerated but I guess with any Windows OS it's necessary...even on a phone...Glad RIM has it's own OS.........

Right. I've said it before, a Blackberry on a well configured BES is a thing of beauty. It's one of the most secure mobile platforms out there.

Billie,
That program by Norton is for Windows Mobile and Symbian OS phones. It will not work on a Blackberry.
