Number showing up as private

So, for some reason when I call people from my cell phone it is showing up on people's caller ID as "Private Number" I have no idea why it's doing this...I have a bold 9650.

Is anyone else having this issue or is it yet another joy of my phone being a pain?

It may not be the phone, but the settings on your account. Log on to MyVerizon, and check to see if you have caller ID blocking in place. You can also call customer service (*611 from your handset or 800-922-0204 from any phone) and they can check the setup for you line, and fix it for you.

Or it could be in your "In-Call settings"  under "Restrict My Identity"  I had that problem once upon a time.
