I HAVE AN ALLTEL BB CURVE 8330 AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT EVEN AFTER THE MOVE TO VZN. I RECENTLY MOVED 3 MILES AWAY FROM FORMER RESIDENCE AND NOW I GET REPEATED DROPPED CALLS AND IT IS DRIVING ME AND MY CLIENTS CRAZY. WORKS FINE OUTSIDE. WORKS FINE ON COMMODE 10 FEET FROM MY OFFICE BUT I REFUSE TO CONDUCT WORK ON THE "THRONE". VZN CS TECH SUPPORT UPDATED TOWERS PRL-NO HELP. I RAN DIAGNOSTIC TEST REPORT AND EMAILED IT TO THEM AND THEY CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHY IT HAPPENS IN MY OFFICE- NO OTHER CELL PH OR NETBOOK OR DATA CARD OR TV ON-ALL DRYWALL STRUCTURE AND LARGE WINDOWS-NO OBSTRUCTIONS OF BUILDINGS. THEY SAID THEY CHECKED TOWER FOR MY EXACT ADDRESS AND IT WAS FINE.ALWAYS AT 1XEV AND MOST TIME FULL OR 3/4 FULL BAR SIGNAL STRENGTH. db LEVEL DOES MOVE FROM 96 TO -1.07 BUT EITHER ONE STILL DROP CALLS AND LISTENER HEARS ME IN AND OUT-MISSES WORDS IF CALL NOT DROPPED. NETWORK EXTENDER NOT AN OPTION. BB IN PERFECT CONDITION SO NOT THE DEVICE. 1ST TECH GUY SAID NOTHING THEY COULD DO AS REPORT APPEARS FINE. SURE....... SO I CALLED AGAIN AND RESENT THEM DX REPORT AND THEY WERE GONNA GIVE TO ANOTHER TECH GUY. READ POSTS ON PRIORITY PRL BUT NOT SURE I GOT THAT BUT I DID DO OPTION 2 W TECH GUY OVER PHONE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY NEW INFO THAT CAN HELP ME? WHAT ABOUT ANY SETTINGS ON BB THAT I CAN CHANGE? PS: DIRECT TV DISH OUTSIDE WINDOW ,AND OFFICE UNDER WIFI HOT SPOT BUT VZN TECHS SAID THAT IS NON ISSUE AS DIFFERENT SIGNAL INVOLVED.

ANY HELP SO VERY APPRECIATED.

Verizon changed the direction of their tower in my area (I don't think the tech was suppose to tell me) all my calls at home are dropped, I bought their network extender that routes your calls over the internet (VOIP) when a Verizon signal is not available, tons of problems with it and no help from tech support.

Interesting user name are you an attorney?

Consumer Reports is suggesting people sue their cell phone company if they dont get service at home (even though they state somewhere they don't guarantee it in your home) because you are being charged a Universal Connection fee each month, which the law was apparently inacted to make sure all americans had phone access at home.

I was surprised for Consumer Reports to say sue, since they are supposedly unbiased,

Any updates on your reception?
