Question about charger identification, i have a blackberry curve

Me and my friend had a sleepover, we have the same phone and charger, but mine are brand new. and i could of sworn the charger she took was mine, because mine is brand new and it definitely was the rounded wire one, but she says no it's hers. I am so frustrated because it's definitely my charger, and i want it back, it's new and its mine. QUESTION: Should the RIM PART NO: HDW on the back of my charger, be the same as the HDW number that is on my phone when i take the back cover off? Because the numbers do not match. Should they?

The RIM PART number is not in any way associated with the device. The numbers on your device and charger will not match.
