Is there a way to retrieve BBM messages and SMS texts that were sent when my phone died?
Not sure if Verizon has a way to retrieve missed messages.
You will be able retrieve your messages automatically, when powering back up the device once it's fully charged. Hope this helps!
Unfortunately, I had to get a new phone as the old one died. The messages did not appear on the new phone.

Did you send your old phone into Verizon like through warranty? Just curious...if you did and if someone by chance managed to turn on your phone some how before you activated the new phone then all your messages went to the old phone
I haven't sent it in yet, but will send it this week.
