For the past week I have had issues with the telephone part of my phone not working all the time, as well as, the SMS part of my phone not working all the time.
I can call my cell from my house phone with my cell on and in my hand and it won't ring - goes straight to voice mail. 5 minutes later, I can try again and it works fine. Very willy-nilly.
I can send a text message and it comes back with a "Mobile equipment status failed" but send the message anyway. I can get a message on the phone and it tells me that the message was received 6 minutes earlier but I just got it (received from both Verizon and non-Verizon senders).
I've rebooted several times. And did the *228 option 2.
Any ideas? My husband has the exact same phone, and he has had no problems.

I also forgot to mention that I can call my voice mail, and have the call fail.
