Storm Screen cracked-replacement?

My son just called and said the screen on his Storm was cracked - didn't drop or bang it, but it was in his pocket, now is not usable. It's 3 months old, I doubt the BB warranty will cover it even though it was not mis-used. We have insurance so can go that route, but any ideas on a way to get a Tour? He is not really happy with the Storm. Or even if he could get a Curve which I have and love. He really doesn't want to have to deal with the Storm for another 1 3/4 years.... Thanks for any ideas.

Insurance should cover it, but only for a replacement Storm. As for getting Tour you have to pay more to get it, not sure of the details. Why did he wait 3 months and decide not happy with Storm? There is a 15 day or 2 week grace period to try out Storm, if not happy your son could have returned Storm and got another phone.

Good luck on phones. But I like to add, the pocket is a bad place for your son to keep a Storm, or any phone, obviously forgot sometimes, "anything" can happen. Should invest in a holster for any phone or something.
