is there a way for the storm 9530 to automatically lock the screen after you make a call instead of having to hit the button on the top of the phone to lock the screen?????

No, I do not think you can automatically lock the screen, however there are some 3rd party apps out there that will do just that for you. You just have to do a Google search.
