Storm touch screen sticks down

My storm touch screen sticks down when you click it.  It does this more time than not.  Anybody else have this problem and if so what is the cure?

The mechanical issues with the Storm are starting to manifest themselves.   I just responded to another thread where the issue was dust and debris getting inside the unit.   I would refer you to that thread below rather than repeating it again here.   I would bet something got inside yours and is either sticking on one end or preventing the other end from fully depressing.    The whole floating screen design of the Storm is starting to show how problematic it is.

 

The announcement of the coming of the Storm II for the end of this year reflects an entirely new touch screen design and I would bet this is the reason.   RIM knows the original Storm design is problematic and rather than recall over a million units it's a lot easier to simply rush an updated one out to market and offer very attractive upgrade packages to existing owners.    At least that is what I suspect will be how RIM attempts to deal with this issue.
