Once you download VZ Access Manager from www.vzam.net (its free!) and install in on your computer there's a neat little setup wizard that walks you thru the steps of getting everything configured. It should only take about 5-10minutes to do the whole thing.
Now as far as pricing it depends on what data plan you're paying for. If you have the $29.99 plan then tethering is $30. If you have the $44.99 plan or the Nationwide + Email plans then it's $15. So either way you'll end up paying $60 for the data plan with tethering.
