Tethering using my BB Curve 8330 and my PC - so slow.

Hi guys....I'm probably all off, but had to ask. :smileysad: I have a BB Curve 8330 and a PC, I have used my phone to tether before, however, the internet connection speed was soooo slow. Is there a way to get a faster speed this way, am I doing something wrong? I don't have a home phone line or cable right now and wanted to know if I had any options with tethering getting the pages to download faster. Thanks for feedback! :smileyhappy:

So your PC is not slow, it is the download speed that is slow. Have you updated your phone for the OS and also have you dialed *228 option 2 to update your PRL? These two things could help increase the speed but the real question is the actual signal strength of the phone. You should get anywhere from .4ish to 1.5 MB/s connection speed.
