Text alert icon

HELP! new text message icon will not go away on main screen...I have deleted every message in my phone and it's still there. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Try and pull the battery and then reinsert it to reboot your phone. See if that clears it up.

Taking out the battery to reboot my Blackberry Storm 2 also helped with my problem: I would push the browser icon, but wasn't getting connected to the internet. Thanks! You saved me a trip to the verizon store today :smileyvery-happy:
