Hi, Bradley,
As a Tour owner, I can tell you it is a solidly built device. It has great graphics and the full-sized QWERTY keyboard is easy to use. The Tour uses the HVGA high resolution 480 x 360 screen so the images jump out at you. I have noticed that since the Tour uses the latest Blackberry OS, 4.7, the web pages load faster and are much easier to browse around the internet. The Tour has 256 mb of flash memory as compared to the Curve (8330) with 64 mb. You can have a few programs running on the Tour with no problems where you can't do that very well with the Curve. Last of all, the Tour is a global device, so your next trip to Europe, you can use your Tour on their 3G networks. All in all, the Tour is a higher-end Blackberry that promises the user an enjoyable experience.
With that said, my son actually uses the Curve 8330 and for the price, it works well for him. His usual experience is texting, emailing, phone calls, and browsing the internet. He is very happy with his Curve and has put a lot of his music on it via a 4 Gb card. Speaking of which, the Tour comes with a 2 Gb memory card standard where as the Curve you must purchase one. I took advantage of the BOGO free program and bought one Tour and got another for free. Like we say in Mississippi, you can't beat that with a stick. If you want to compare devices, you can do that here on Verizon's web site or at Blackberry's web site. Good luck,
Doc

I've had a Curve 8330 for a couple months now and am happy with my plan and all the features. I play music at my desk all day without bothering anyone else around me. My only complaint is that battery life is less than advertised. I end up charging overnight every 2 or 3 days even with low usage. But, overall I like my Curve
