Upgraded to 7.1.0 Bundle 457.

I've recently updated my Bold 9930 device to the new software and now the return/previous key will not work when I am in my mailbox. I have to hit the BB button and close each mail and folder that I am in. The return/previous key works in other apps but not in the messages/mailbox and its rather annoying and my device is blocked from downgrading. Am I missing something? I can't locate any settings that I can change. Any advice would be appreciated.

There isn't a setting to control what the back/previous button will do in specific menus. I would imagine that it's just a glitch. I have tested this on a Bold 9930, and it seems to work fine. Have you tried restarting your device? Pulling the battery seems to help with little glitches like these that one may encounter post-update. Give that a try. If it doesn't work, a wipe may be necessary.

Let us know any updates to your issue or what did/didn't work in your troubleshooting.

I ended up wiping the device and it seems be back up to normal. Lost all the complimentary apps from BB. :smileysad:
