My bill for this month has a monthly surcharge of $58.00 and some change, anyone else have a large surcharge like this? I know that i'm not paying this amount!
If its on your bill I'm pretty sure you are paying it. It could be a credit or equipment charges
Like most things, if you stop looking to blame Verizon and take a look at what the charge if for you will see what it is for

Unexpected charges on any bill can be very frustrating. I want to thank the community members for their suggestions. The monthly surcharges are a small percentage of your monthly access, do you have more than one line on your account? Additionally, there may be a separate fee included within your surcharges possibly a returned payment fee or reconnect fee. Thanks for getting back too me, however Verizon wants to word what they are charging a surcharge is like a processing, or shipping and handling. It's all the same, it's way too much on top of what they are charging for the monthly plan. Verizon can charge more for whatever or whenever they want. Has verizon ever given it any thought to leveling the playing field? How about charging less if you don't go over your minutes or over on your data plan? Would make a lot of folks happy but we know it will not happen!
