Can someone tell me why I now (past couple of days for the first time in a year and a half of owning my Blackberry World Edition) I have a grey rectangle with white numbers, "123," covering up my symbol for the battery in the upper right corner of the screen? I can't find reference to it anywhere in the Blackberry help menus.

That's the number lock isn't?
Try hitting some of your shift keys or the alt key to make it go away.

Thank you. That was exactly it! Now why couldn't I find that in the basic Blackberry manual?
