"Device Locked"--not by me!

I use my Blackberry Curve as a modem and connect using the VZAcess Manager. I used it earlier today, as normal, then logged out. When I went to log in again, and the VZAcess Manager says "Device Locked" and is asking for a 4 digit code to unlock.

I haven't locked the device or assigned a 4 digit code.

I've had to get around it using the dial up connection, using #777.

How do I "unlock" when I didn't "lock"?????:smileymad:

Thanks!

The default unlock code is the last 4 of the mobile number.

If you have changed the lock code you would use the lock code you created.

Open VZAccess Manager.

From the Windows desktop, click Start > All Programs (Programs) > VZAccess Manager.

Click Tools > Preferences.

Select the desired tab to view preferences.

Depending upon device and / or software version, some options may not be available.

Ensure desired options are selected (checked) then click Set Options (located in the upper-right corner).

Security Options:

Lock / unlock the wireless device or change the lock code.
