screen lock up

Even after removing and reseating my battery, the screen goes black and I get a small circle with a line moving around in it--resembling a second hand on a clock face. I can't do anything with the phone==including making or receiving calls until it decides to stop. Has anyone seen this????

Sounds like you need to clear your memory. If you can't get on to the phone, you may need to take it to Company Verizon store, not a Kiosk. Do you have any idea what Operating system was installed when it did this? Do you have Desktop Mgr. installed on your computer? If so, hook the BB up and try to restore from the backup settings in it.
