Its saying its not compatible how is a Verizon phone not compatible

it may not be a Verizon phone. You can get replacement housing parts for any carrier at dozens of online parts suppliers.

It could be damaged. I recently bought a Q10 on eBay and it wouldn't activate on Verizon. It was the right model for VZ (SQN100-2) and it was not on the blacklist for stolen phones. There was no outstanding balance on the original account on which it was previously used. Any one of these things could keep it from being used on Verizon.

To check the model, go to Settings > About > and select the Hardware tab in the drop down menu.
