strange "uncaught exception application" message on phone

My phone all of a sudden stopped receiving email and the message "uncaught exception Application net_rim_bb_phone_app(1537) is not responding; process terminated" When I hit okay nothing happens and nothing works on the phone. Can anyone help me figure out what to do???

My suggestion is to do a battery pull and let it reboot to see if the problem still is present.

If this fails to correct the problem, I would do a backup, then wipe the phone before re installing the os.

Hi,

I agree with tnhwyman. In addition, you can try to resend your service books or dialing *228 and selecting option 2. That might get things going.
