We certainly hope that you don't need to worry about anything related to Verizon Wireless, wys515. The great news is that all of our LTE global-capable devices, such as the Blackberry Classic, are already unlocked and ready to use with a compatible local SIM without any extra steps from us. If you have an existing Verizon Wireless account for while you're in the U.S., you can make your purchase through http://bit.ly/nD0WuY. Otherwise, you may need to go through the manufacturer directly to purchase a phone without any ties to our services.

Keep in mind that if you buy a Classic from somebody else, unlocked, you will not be able to use it on Verizon. You must buy it from Verizon or an authorized Verizon reseller if you intend to use it on Verizon.
