Switching to straight talk

I have been without service for 22 days! Verizon has been lying to me since I tried switching to straight talk. I've been told multiple times that they have released my phone and number yet they have not. Everything is up and running on straight talks end. I have been on the phone with Verizon and straight talk for a total of 16 hours over the past 22 days. I've been as patient as I can be but this is really trashing me off. I feel as if I'm being held hostage. 😡

...?

Do you know how porting works? You give the new carrier your account number and your pin -- transfer pin in Verizon's case. They take that info and port the number in.

If the port didn't complete, that's not Verizon refusing to release your number. They make it super easy to get what you need from the app. Your number isn't held, you either didn't give Straight Talk what they need or they aren't doing their job.

Ostrander87, this is certainly not our intent. It's difficult to hear that you made the switch. What has been done so far? Has any reasoning been offered?
