I brought a device to Verizon and received at $350 eGift Card that states in the fine print that "Gift cards do not expire and are not subject to dormancy or other fees." I have attempted to use the card for verizon.com purchases and each time the card shows a zero balance, yet it has never been used. I have spoken with 7 different customer service representatives and 4 of them said they would create a case number and get back to me after 5-7 business days after doing a detailed internal review. I have waited the 5-7 business days each time and have called back to discover each time that absolutely nothing has been done and case numbers were never filed. This is clearly case of obfuscation and they are just hoping I will go away and forget all about it. This is purely fraudulent and after being a customer for more then 6 years I am now shopping other carriers. Never trust Verizon and their fraudulent promotions.
