Thanks for confirming those details. I did locate that specific promotion and the main requirements were to open a new account or add a new line when coming over, and purchase a new device from us. If you meet those qualifactions, then you can redeem the promotion.
To redeem the VZ Gift Card, you can submit for that via our Simple Rebate site here: https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/ On that page you’ll enter the purchase date of your new line/equipment and use the promo code VZ200SWITCH23. After that is accepted you’ll be asked to enter the following information; email address & confirmation, the qualifying number. You can find that under account details in My Verizon. Confirm that number, and then your first and last name. You then submit all that. Once you have a confirmed submission, you should receive the VZ Gift Card via email within 8-weeks of submission.
Please give that a try, and let us know if you were able to complete the submission.

They said I was going to get a $200 Verizon gift card for each line I brought from Tmobile (I brought 2) They offered me a $65 discount on my cell phone bill if I also connected the internet at my house, (it also turned out to be a lie ) The only thing I wish is that after 2 months of trying to get the gift cards someone can finally do it. Mine is saying the submission time for this offer has ended. I have called several times and was told it would be in the app I checked daily for the last 3 months and there hasn’t been anything. I switched 3 lines over from 3 separate carriers December 26 and haven’t got a notification and now when I do what you suggested for the other person I get that error saying submission time has ended.

same problem here. I tried to order a new iphone to port in a home line from my cable company thru the app. That wasnt working so I called *611 and the guy put the order in. When i checked my email there was one that said "Exclusive offer "Me", get a $200 gift card when you finish your order. When I clicked on "go to cart" it said "your cart is empty or ineligible to receive your offer". So clearly, instead of helping me complete my order the rep cleared my cart and made me ineligible for this "exclusive offer". Thats pretty shady business! I was shocked to read how quickly this came up with a simple google search. That tells me Verizon knows very well what is happenimng here! I'd like my $200 please!

Had the same issue talk to somebody at customer service said I should be getting something in my email that never came. My receipt. Said it came with the phone, but there was nothing in the box. The customer service agent said they never send anything directly that I should receive something After I pay my first bill got my other promotions, though never received this one

I had the same thing happen the beginning of June but they actually sent a gift card in the box. When I went to use it, it was inactivated. I’ve been dealing with them for a month and they keep saying they’re sending it.

I tried to place an order for iphone 16 pro with new line of service, number port in from ATT.
Verizon shows i can get a $200 bonus by rebate with bring a number, during my check out process.
That incentive pushed me to placed the order on September 18th 2024.
On my receipt, it says redeem offer in My Verzion or vzw.com/myverizion after placing your order.
Today October 3rd 2024, I have received my iphone 16 pro for 2 weeks, there is nothing related to this rebate in My Verizon, nor in vzw.com/myverizion. I contacted customer service, they have no idea about this at all. Everything just looks like it never existed.
Can anyone help or share how to proceed?

ELEVEN MONTHS AND COUNTING -- IN SEARCH OF THE ELUSIVE $200.00 VERIZON GIFT CARD
I have spoken to Verizon Customer Support on three separate occasions, trying to get four $200.00 gift cards from an order I made in Early November 2023.
Every time I get off the phone with Verizon Customer Support, I am promised that I'll simply need to wait 6-8 weeks, and the cards will magically arrive in my email.
On July 31st, 2023 -- I actually received 1 of the 4 mythical VGCs. Since receiving it, I have been trying to figure out a method actually to use it to pay my Verizon bill. Even though you are told that you can do that through Verizon.com or calling their automated system, it is NOT POSSIBLE unless you are willing to make yet another call to Verizon Customer Support for help on the matter. At least the VGCs don't expire, so I'll get to that someday when I have an extra hour or so to spare.
In the meantime, could Verizon Customer Support help me regarding the missing 3x $200.00 VGCs?
I have had the same issues I have had there 5g home internet for over a year had no issues in may I decided to switch from AT&T I add 3 lines 2 new iPhone 15s and Apple Watch was supposed to have gotten $200 dollar gift cards per line I switched well when the sent new phones the phone only sent 1 gift card my first bill came in they way over charged me so I called Verizon talked to a guy he corrected my bill told him about the gift card told me he would take care of it then talked me into upgrading my internet to 5g home plus so I did I was to get a Nintendo switch and $100 gift cards per line for upgrading well every month since the several times a month I have had to spend ours on the phone to get over charged bills adjusted and to get the rest of my promos they promised every one I talked to which was around 20 or so told me they was putting in the tickets for them and I’ll receive them shortly but never got anything some of the customer service reps was very rude even hung up on me multiple times they give me credits on my bill for everything I been going through then next month they charge me for they credit they gave me I have even talked to several supervisor over all this and I have not got anywhere not to mention when I first signed up for Verizon home internet I was supposed to get promotions then but they don’t give them I feel they promise you all this great stuff to get u over to Verizon and then never give u anything and when u call them they literally just tell u what u want to here to get u off the phone they keep telling me they are putting in the tickets for all my promotions then when I call back and talk to someone else they tell me no tickets have been made they swear they will do it and don’t it’s been like this since may so good luck getting anything out of them cause it’s all false advertising

I bought a brand new iphone 15 pro in august 2024 and had to select an expensive plan to qualify for this $200 gift card, yet i never received an email and no one will help me. I'm considering canceling if this is how your customer service operates, because your by far the most expensive carrier and i only get 2 bars at my house using your service (my house is bad with any service but that was my point to switch to verizon hoping it would work as it has "good service"). But this run around and on top of bad cell reception making this not worth it. For me it was a $100 credit per line applied to first bill that was offered in store. We have two lines so should be a $200 credit. The employee, Jamie even told us it would 'almost cover the whole first bill' which is $225 and change. But sadly the credit never applied so we were bamboozled into this purchase.

I switched my service from T-Mobile to Verizon wireless on the 5th of August. After our lines were activated I called and spoke with a Rep a few days later asking about the $200 promotion. I was told I would receive an email shortly and to be on the lookout for it. I never received the email and called back the beginning of September. I spoke with a rep who told me that I had to wait until the 22nd of October before I would become eligible, and at that time I would receive the code. I still have not received the code, and after chatting with a rep today I was told that he didn't see any such promotion assigned to my account. I would really appreciate some assistance on this.

Order was placed on 10/1/2024order #9282776. The promo was for trading in a device and switching carriers.
I hope I’m still able to get it because the deadline is today 11/30 and nobody has called or messaged me since opening this discussion and had I not logged in to see if there was an update., I did not get an email or text notification saying that a response was made. I have to say this is not a great way to start a business relationship.

For anyone following, Verizon had me on a chat for another 1.5 hrs. They have now told me the two weeks estimate is really 45 days. And the Verizon rep who told me he escalated the issue and it would be resolved in 48 hrs was also wrong.

Yes, it’s clear. Verizon likes to advertise rebates then make its customer fight tooth and nail in order to receive that rebate. I’ve spent countless time wasting away, chatting with agents for hours on end only to eventually get another message that says more information is needed. I’ve sent my order showing thw rebate link that doesn’t work and despite multiple customers going through the same thing, Verizon acts like this is an issue nobody’s heard of. I’ve had agents tell me they’ve manually submitted the rebate and it should take 7 to 10 days and then after that time goes by, I’ve spoke with agents that act like nothing has been done. What a disgrace that a huge company like this plays these games.
This is clearly a business practice that Verizon uses. Advertise a rebate then pull a bait/switch meanwhile we’re forced to sign up for top tier plan. I’m going on 4 months now trying to get the $200 rebate and after countless hours chatting I’m not any closer to receiving it. My next move is filing a smalls claims case and reaching out to the BBB.
I love this reply. Where did you see the promotion or what rebate code did you get? How about it’s your own promotion and thousands of people used it yet you make us message every day to try and get it. You know what promotion it is because it’s your company.

Wow! This does appear to be calculated by the company. We had success asking to speak to a supervisor. (Only after months of experiencing what you all describe) Hope that helps others.
