Never received $200 rebate

Is anyone actually getting assistance with this? Like hundreds of other frustrated Verizon customers, my wife and I have never received our $200 rebates or promo codes after switching two separate lines from TMobile in March 2023. This seems to be a complete fiasco. We both called and the nice rep assured me that I was due a $150 rebate (wrong but OK) and she would add a $50 credit extra to satisfy us. Both of us then received a text message that said "Your requested credit if $50 is being reviewed for approval. You'll get an updated status within 48 hours." which of course we never received any updates. This is crazy that VZW can't get this right and totally spoils our opinion of the company. Especially seeing how many people have the same issue here. Hopefully someone can assist me on here.

We want to make sure you're getting any rebates and promotions you qualify for and we'd be happy to take a look into this for you. We'll send you a Private Note so we can assist.

We are having the same iss ue as so many others here. We were assured that we would receive the rebate but now Verizon is denying our rebate. Very eye opening what a shady business practice this is. We regret switching over to Verizon but now we are locked in with our new phones. As soon as those paid off, we will leave this company who promise all sort of things but do not keep their words. Our previous provider never did anything like this! Since we are not the only ones with this issue, it just shows it's not us who did anything wrong here!

Hockeydad79, we're sorry to hear about your rebate and that your Verizon experience hasn't been as great as it should. We'd like to review your rebate and figure out what's going on. We'll send you a Private Note shortly.

Well they rejected my rebate claim. Of course by the time the support rep finally gave me the promo code I was outside of the time limit. The funny thing is on the rejection claim it stated that it had to be redeemed within 30 days of purchase but when submitting the rebate it said 60 days. Conflicting information to add to the confusion. If the support rep had given me the promo code when I first asked for it my claim would've been on time. Now Verizon gets to not honor the deal and give me the $600 worth of gift cards I was owed. When my contract is up I am definitely switching back and Verizon will never get my business again. Hope it was worth it losing a new customer Verizon.

I never received my gift cards either for the 3 lines that I switched over from T-Mobile. They make it purposefully vague and difficult to get. Very shady business practice to lure you to switch.

We never want a gift card to be difficult to get, Christophe99. Here's a great link that you can use to check on a rebate status: https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/check-my-status -Joe

The link is useless because Verizon never emailed me the promo code. I've been going in circles trying to get the offer redeemed and getting nowhere. Verizon customer service reps say to send them a private note and when I do they can't help. It shouldn't be THIS difficult and all of us new customers should not have to feel like we were duped into switching by Verizon offering something they don't intend to honor.
