How to get the $200 Port in rebate? I want Verizon to publicly explain this.
I apparently got a $200 rebase for porting in my number.
I did not want to port in my number because I still have payment on my old phone and it is costing me 20$ for the phone and the basic plan. So for me it does not make any sense to pay my $260 phone balance just to port in my number. On the page where you select the phone number, I saw the offer to actually port in my number and get 200$. Since it was a fair deal for my situation and will prevent me from carrying 2 phones around, i took it. When I reached out to the CS my surprise was so big when he straightly told me that I was confused. SO this is what Verizon is doing to lock customers in. I think the world need to know this. So no one fall into this.
I would like Verizon to clarify this. I realize it is a recurring issue.
