Verizon $200 gift card rebate : frustrating & disappointing

I placed an order on the phone with help of Verizon Sales associate. She told me that since I am placing this order on the phone, she is going to apply $200 credit (instead of $200 gift card) on my account which will be reflected on my account as soon as I port my line from different provider.

I was not able to see any credit after porting my line, so I called Verizon helpline and I was told I will get $200 gift card but I have to go to https://vzw.com/rebate and enter promo code CARTOFFER2025 and order date and follow steps from there. I did that but at the last step it shows an error "We can't process your request". 

I called in helpline again and I was told to wait for one billing cycle (30 days at least) and then I will get an automated link to complete steps. 

At this stage, I do not have trust in what Verizon support is saying because they do not have a clue on how this promotion works. This utterly frustrating and look like a shady practice.  Can someone please help me on this?

I am having this same problem. Switched specifically due to this promotion and confirmed with them twice before placing my order and once after. Was similarly told to wait 30 days so I did and big surprise, nothing happened. Seems to be enough people having the same issue to make it seem purposefully misleading. I wonder if anyone has had a real resolution? Iโ€™ll definitely be switching to a new carrier if they do not resolve this for me within a day.

Same problem here. Customer service and AFNI no help.   In fact been promised over and over on customer service calls and chats that is is coming.  and here I am today NOTHING

I was promised a $200 debit card (4 lines $800) for porting over to Verizon in December 2024.  I was told the debit card would be sent after 1-2 billing cycles.  I returned to the store due to phone promotion credits (missing credits), I was told there was no port-in promotion.    We incurred a $800 expense from the former carrier, so we needed the port-in credit to cover that cost.  After numerous calls with customer service and visits to the store they are no offering $100 per line.  Promotion 381053.  I will need to submit a credit card dispute for all the missing credits.  Not happy, can't trust Verizon.
