I have a DVR and camera system in an area where I can only connect to the internet via a Verizon MIFI. I want to use a wireless router so that I can hook up the dvr to it via hard wire cat 5 cable. The router would "talk" to the MIFI and this way I can view my cameras over the internet.
I tried to get a wireless 3G broadband router to work with the MIFI. VZ Manager sees the router but it will not allow me to connect.
Is there any way, I can get this to work. I see that it should work with a standard aircard or usb modem. Is there a way to configure MIFI to act as a bridge rather than a router??

If you only need a single ethernet port, check out the inexpensive http://j.mp/ctr350
but since you are moving video, i'd suggest the more powerful onboard processor of the http://j.mp/mbr1000
both are built from the ground up as "cellular routers" -- not cable/dsl
you would not need VZAM with these... they manage the connection to verizon network themselves.

I bought my CradlePoint MBR1000 here: http://moremobileinternet.com/
It's a great router. I use it for both my Verizon USB760 and Charter cable.
