Can I exchange netbook for cell phone?

I recently purchased a netbook with dataplan and I am almost at the end of my 30 day period for returns/exchanges. After this month of using it I am really regretting that I got this instead of a droid phone. I currently just have a prepaid tracfone for a cell phone. yuck.

What is the best way for me to go about this? I like the netbook if it is practical to keep it without the verizon dataplan service, but I'm willing to return it if it will save me any charges to switch. I know I will have to shell out some cash for this switch, but wondered what the cheapest route would be. Also, if I kept the netbook could I do it online? I've got 3 kids so it would be extra awesome if I didn't have to torture the verizon employees by dragging them along. haha

Thank you for your help!

If you don't want the netbook, you need to return it within the 30 day trial period and cancel your contract.  If you don't, then it's your's and you're obligated to pay for it per your contract.  You can order a Droid independent of what you decide to do with the netbook.

Yeah, but I meant is it similar to switching cell phones or is it really the same as just starting completely over which basically means I'm kinda screwed.

I'm not aware of any way to exchange it.  The netbook is on a 5 GB $60 per month data plan.  The Droid is a cell phone with a $29.99 unlimited data plan.  Why are you screwed?  Just send back the netbook and order a Droid.

If you are still within 30 days from the date of purchase, you can exchange your netbook for the Droid.  A calling plan change will be made at the time you make the exchange.  Also there will be a $35.00 restocking fee to swap the devices. You will also have to pay the difference in the price, if there is one.
