Cannot send emails with large attachments.server time out error

I have grand kids and love to forward pics and videos to other family members, but I get a server time our error. I can receive the same emails but cannot forward them. Any Ideas to speed things along? I did shut off the scan outgoing emails in my anti-virus program.

You have to send email from your email account's web site.

Good luck with that... I tried to download my copy of World of Goo, but Verizon would crap out after a few mb and say it was done. It was a small game, so I don't understand why it wouldn't download. I tried again and it had one mb less downloaded than the previous attempt, which was still far short of the full file. All that wasted bandwidth 'cause Verizon sucks.
